There’s something so special when a group of creative business owners gather together in a room.
It’s something that no amount of zoom or virtual course can replicate.

This 4-day retreat was born out of my need to get away and have time to truly work on my business, not just in my business. And what started as a weekend away for me to dream and plan and implement became something that a dozen women wanted to be a part of.
Women came in burnt out, overwhelmed and some ready to close their doors.
They left with clear plans, entire systems and websites overhauled and a community that has continued being a huge catalyst in their growth!
Why in-person education makes such a difference
As photographers we spend most of our time in a vacuum.
A vacuum of motherhood that opens up just a little when we finally get time with our clients.
But when our only coworkers are those adorable, tiny rent-free humans looking for their next snack, it is impossible to truly devote our attention and brain space to growing our businesses.
We try to fit all of our work in the little in between spaces of our day. And that can work for a time. But to do the deep work. The hard work that takes us from hustle to clarity. That work happens when we step away.
The tendancy even with amazing platforms like Zoom and Google Meets is to still keep ourselves present for the needs at home.
This time away is glorious.
And make no mistake, it isn’t just some frilly vacation. There is rest to be had but there is a tremendous amount of work and progress these women make with their peers right along side them. The late night chats, the coffee walks along the beach, all of these times add up to huge breakthroughs that propel your business forward in the coming months!

There are definitely times in my business that I have been the queen of DIY. I have done so much in my business in my own. Can you relate? And it can be so hard to actually invest in something. It feels big. It feels scary. It feels like maybe we can just figure it out on our own.

Within 48 hours 9/11 attendees had already signed up for next year, resulting in a SOLD OUT retreat for 2027 a year in advance. They recognized that they need each other. I was mama bear that brough together the education, curated the work experiences and made sure they were taken care of. But it was the conversations, laughs, tears and connections made with each other than have kept them coming back year after year.
My attendees area always sending me photos of meetups they’ve randomly done throughout the year and I LOVE it!! This is what I wanted when I started this. A place that said, “you are not alone”.
